Location: Atlanta, GA
Global, privately owned company manufacturing textile products sold B2B. This company is growing through acquisition and is seeking an experienced leader that can manage the growing sales team. You would work from a home office with weekly travel to the corporate office located in North Georgia.
Job Description:
- Develop sales strategies and plans for existing customers and new customers
- Implement both long and short-term market strategy and plans for both new and existing customers
- Investigate and develop new customers and markets
- Develop business action plans for targeted markets
- Regular communication with customers to keep in touch with the market and customer needs
- Work with other departments in the company, specifically sales and marketing, in order to close any gaps in the process
- Develop internal processes in order to maximize company success
- Identify and develop new accounts
Job Requirements:
- BA/BS required
- 7 years of project management/business development sales work
- 5 years of experience in a marketing, sales, or business development leadership role with proven results of success
- Sales Experience within a manufacturing company required
Travel will be 40-60%. Flexibility to travel to company headquarters weekly and meeting with customers in geographic areas of responsibility. Flexibility to work out of home office when not traveling.
