Coley Company Announces Promotions and New Hire

We are proud to announce several Coley Company promotions and a new team member.

Join us in congratulating Denise Elliott Davis who has been promoted to Senior Vice President. Denise has been placing talent in the apparel, textile, and nonwoven industries for more than 20 years. Denise has worked with Doug Coley her entire career and together they launched Coley Company in 2010. Doug shared, “Denise has extensive industry knowledge and enjoys the more technical searches. Her passion for the industry shows through her hard work to find the ‘needle in a haystack candidate’ that will make our client companies successful. Denise has continued to grow her client base every year. We are proud of all the success Denise has brought to Coley Company.”

Ross Coley has been promoted to Vice President. Ross joined Coley Company as an Executive Recruiter in 2016 after many years with Sasser Companies leading a sales and project management team. Doug shared “Ross is great at understanding the technical components of the apparel, textile, and nonwoven processes, technologies, and markets. He has developed client relationships with new textile technologies focused on sustainability. Ross is very dedicated to his work and we are proud of his success.”

Landis Connor has been promoted to Senior Executive Recruiter. Landis joined Coley Company in 2019 after working in the Human Resources field with nonwoven and life-science companies. Doug shared, “Landis has a great skill for identifying and recruiting technical talent in the apparel, textile, and nonwoven industry. She has extraordinary attention to detail. She gets things done in advance and is very action-oriented. Landis is working full-time while earning her MBA from UNC Greensboro. We are proud of her accomplishments and we are excited to watch her career grow.”

Sarah Kathryn Sullivan is joining the Coley Company team as Recruiter. Sarah Kathryn came from a background in Higher Education Philanthropy. Most recently she was Director of Development for the Weatherspoon Art Museum at UNCG. Doug shared, “Sarah Kathryn’s experience in philanthropy has many synergies with our business in recruiting. The donor relationships she cultivated will serve her well in our industry. We are excited she has joined the team.”
