Commodity Manager

The Commodity Manager will lead the sourcing and market analysis of raw materials for global raw materials consumed by in-house manufacturing. This role will focus on US and international commodity markets, analyze the risks, develop sourcing plans, and execute long-term commodity strategies. 
The position is with a large global manufacturing company with many international production facilities making materials for automotive, building materials,  aerospace, energy storage and production, and beyond. This company is a very stable organization and offers tremendous growth opportunities for the Commodity Manager position. 
 

• BS/BA degree required; Masters preferred. 
• Must have 7-10 years of experience in commodity supplier risk management, commodity strategy development, and execution.
• Requires a high level of financial expertise in budget analysis, international exchange rates, and financial contract implications and demonstrates measurable success in improving the bottom line.
• Position can be remote.
