Doug Coley
With more than 25 years of executive search experience, Doug Coley began Coley Company in June of 2010. Located in Greensboro, N.C., Coley Company works within the Apparel, Fabric, Fiber, and Nonwoven Industries.
Doug received a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Appalachian State University. Doug began his professional career in the textile industry by serving in manufacturing management with Milliken and Company in Pendleton, S.C. After working for seven years with Milliken, Doug moved to Greensboro and served as Senior Vice President of Adkins and Associates, an executive search firm for the apparel and fabric industries. Doug remained with Adkins and Associates for 24 years until the start of Coley Company.
Since 1995, Doug has been a member of the Pinnacle Society, a premier consortium of top recruiters within the permanent placement and search industries. The Pinnacle Society provides the nation’s top recruiters a forum in which to exchange business principles and placement techniques that lead them to achieve and maintain success.
Doug also serves as Founder and Managing Director for the Doug Coley Foundation for Leukemia Research The Doug Coley Foundation has raised more than $280,000 through an annual golf tournament for Leukemia Research at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Doug is also a Regional Advisory Board Member for the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Wake Forest Baptist Health. He also supports Appalachian State University’s athletic and academic programs. Doug serves as an active member of his local church, and resides in North Carolina with his wife Nancy of more than 31 years and their two children.
Denise Davis

Prior to joining Coley Company, Denise worked with Doug Coley as a Recruiter at Adkins & Associates. She loves spending time outdoors with her family and friends and her beloved Shih-Tzu “Barbie”. She enjoys gardening, collecting old textile mill items, working on DIY projects at her home in Virginia and watching Duke Basketball games.
Nancy Coley
Nancy Coley serves as Vice President of Coley Company. She is responsible for personnel, operations, vender relations, and procurement. Nancy received a Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University in Home Economics Education, and became a Home Economics Teacher at Pendleton High School. After teaching for 7 years, Nancy became a stay at home Mom before receiving her real estate license in 2003. Nancy serves as a Real Estate Agent for Allen Tate in addition to her position at Coley Company. In her spare time, Nancy is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Greensboro, an active member in her local church, and also plays tennis for Cardinal Country Club and for the United States Tennis Association (USTA).
